Strayhorn Family : Summer is almost over...

It has been a crazy active summer... there have been parts that were not so great but over all it was a great summer for us... It was so nice to be able to get out of town for a while and spend good time with family and lots of time with David! Now we are back in Amarillo. Back to "normal" life.

I have the rest of this week off and then teacher inservice starts Monday! Crazy! I still don't know what I will be teaching this year but I am praying for a good year with good kids.

David starts his second year of Pharmacy school!! If his second year goes as fast as his first it will be totally fine by me! His internship with Walgreens went well and will continue to work periodically for them so he stays on pay roll which in turn will mean when he is done with school he will have 4 years working for Walgreens and hopefully that helps him get a job!! Plus, whatever he makes on the days he works will only help our savings!

I am looking forward to going to Arkansas in a month for the Salem Association. David won't be able to go because 99% chance he will have to study... but I haven't been to Arkansas for 3 years (I can't believe that!!!) and it will be nice to get back to beautiful Arkansas!
